Merchandise design for Ax's debut album, The Pelican. The album is about the in-between space of growing up. Facing the future when you're not sorted out and ready.

Ax's music is instrumentally focused and synthesiser-heavy, and I aimed to grasp their spontaneous, other-worldly sound through geometric shapes and a grainy Riso print. The design should capture the feeling of Ax's music - equally fun and bittersweet.

Ax's merchandise includes two t-shirts, a hoodie, and clock, Time Marches Ever On.
